There is no charge for this event.

The menu for this gala event will be centered on a “Dutch Oven Cook-off” and dinner. Come to the Lodge and learn to cook in a Dutch oven, watch the demonstration, ask questions and sample the delicious food that can be prepared this way.

Start of cooking demonstration:                  3:00PM

Silent Auction and Happy Hour:                 4:00PM

Judging/Award Prizes & Dinner:                6:00PM

$20.00 per Person Donation, come early and enjoy happy hour and watch the cooking.

Silent Auction – items donated by local vendors and outdoor shops to bid on.

Bring your own Dutch oven dish if you desire or bring baked goods for our Bake Sale. Come up help us support the Lodge and have a good time.

Dutch Oven Cookers who provide & donate meals to serve should pick their category of main dish, side dish or dessert.   Lodge will be open after 12:00PM for cookers to setup.

Everyone, about 80 people attended, had a great time with the home cooked pasta, salad, desert, appetizers and drinks. The food service netted over one thousand dollars in donations to the WMCF and the silent auction netted over fifteen hundred dollars from the donated auctioned items. Those of you who missed it still have the opportunity to attend the Dutch Oven Cook Out at the Lodge in September (see the What’s Happening Page) to give your donations to preserve the WMC Lodge or you can just send them in to the WMCF.

The event was well attended even with the threat of rain. the WMCF was able to receive over thirteen hundred dollars in donations for the event. We will be sponsoring this event again next year.

The plan is make the lodge available to the public through open houses, reservations for scheduled events, and donations of use time to eligible charitable and educational organizations. Individuals and community organizations will be able to schedule private events at the lodge with payment of a cost-based fee.
